Apps for Traveling Kids

The New York Times has recommended some phone apps for children while traveling: http://travel.nytimes.com/2011/12/25/travel/apps-to-keep-children-happy.html?scp=1&sq=travel%20apps%20children&st=cse. The apps are categorized by age group, with several suggestions for each group.
Currently, my daughter is fine with the 7 episodes of her favorite kids' programs that I have on my phone. In fact, she is often content to pick just one of those episodes and watch it over and over again. Still, I know that she won't want to do that forever, so some of these apps may be a good idea. If I check them out, I will follow up with a review.
